A retired educator with interests in literacy and mathematics. A quilter, garment maker, knitter and a cappella singer.
I started this blog when I began the MOOC: How To Learn Math offered by Stanford University. What appears here are thoughts, response to questions, and other input into the course.
My writing spilled over into the MoMA course: Art and Inquiry and other thoughts on learning/teaching started to appear.
So what you have here is a collection of my reflections on my own learning as I’m engaged as a learner as well as some of the BIG ideas that influenced me as a professional educator.
